I had arranged to go to the park today with the (almost) 4 year old and his best friend from nursery. However, when the heavens opened, we made a last minute change of plans to go to Wetherspoons instead. Having planned a red day, and with plans to go to the cinema this afternoon, I prepared a chilli for tea and put it on low in the slow cooker.
It was lovely to see the joy on the kids faces, and, as luck would have it, the rain stopped and we made it to the park before stopping off for coffee on the way home. I am a self confessed coffee addict, and despite googling, could not for the life of me find the syn values for any drinks at Spoons. I opted for a small skinny latte, which I am synning at 4 syns (the app has M & S small skinny lattes as 4).
This afternoon, I went to see Guardians of the Galaxy with my sister in law ... And my SW halo continued to glow. Instead of having popcorn and Pepsi, I took a tub of chopped up fruit and a bottle of water. The film is really good, a bit slow to get going but funny once it gets in to it. Seeing it in IMAX 3D made it all the more spectacular!!
I had to change my plans for tea, as the chilli had pretty much disintegrated so gave it to hubby and made myself a grill instead.

Snacks: Spoons coffee (4 syns), apple, satsuma, grapes and banana, melon and grape pot
Other HEXA: 250ml semi skimmed milk
