As parents of a whole brood of kids (think enough for our own 5 a side team), Luke and I have a drink, once a week when the kids are all in bed ... And we don't count the syns!! Yes, it slows down our weight loss. Yes we'd get to our target weight quicker if we didn't. But, and it's a big but, I would start resenting slimming world if we didn't. With all the stresses that being a part of such a large family with a variety of forever changing needs and demands brings, we allow ourselves one night a week to remember that we are more than just mum and dad, cook, cleaner, referee, house maid and general skivvy. Slimming world is a lifestyle change, a healthy way of living, but it doesn't mean that I have to be a recluse and stop living.
So, food today (on plan and a red day):
Breakfast: grapes, pineapple and melon with an apricot shape 0% yoghurt
Lunch: tuna salad
Tea: chilli, cheese and a be free wrap
HEXA: 250ml semi skimmed milk, 30g cheese
HEXB: 150g baked beans, be free wrap
Syns (from food):
Mayo - 1
Salad cream - 1 1/2
Sweet chilli sauce - 1
Chilli (mama's secret recipe) - 3
Total syns - 6 1/2
Plus all the syns in vodka and Mickey Finn chocolate, nuts and fruit liquor 👍
