Miserable weather creates a miserable mood, which normally causes me to comfort eat ... But not today!! I decided to start my 100 days with a success express day, just as a mental kick start, and busied myself for the rest of the day with housework. I have sorted through loads of clothes and got rid of the ones that are too big for me along with blankets and things that the boys no longer need. Good deed for the day done as they were donated through a local page helping those less fortunate than us.
My halo is well and truly shining, both morally and slimming world. Today's menu consisted of:
Breakfast: Melon, grapes and strawberries with a shape 0% mango yoghurt
Lunch: Ham and cheese salad (HEXA) with 60g wholemeal bread (HEXB) (4 syns for mayo and a tablespoon of tesco light choices coleslaw)
Dinner: Veggie stir fry (baby corn, mange tout, mushrooms, pepper and carrots fried in 1 tbsp of olive oil (HEXB) with some egg noodles boiled in Chinese five spice and topped with soy sauce)
Snacks: Grapes, Banana, clementine, melon and grapes with a vanilla and chocolate muller light)
Syns for the day: 4
I use my syns through the week. I start with 105, some days use more than 15, sometimes less. I know syns are a bone of contention with how they should be used - some saying you should have 15 a day and can't carry them over, others saying it's perfectly fine to have them as a weekly allowance. I've always used them weekly and it hasn't done me any harm, so I will continue to do so :-)
Tonight, my (almost) 4 year old has come home after being to Peppa Pig world for the weekend and it's great to have him home!! Hubby has also been to pick his sister up who is staying for the week - it's a madhouse here!! However, my real win for the day was me turning down Maccies which is a big turning point for me!!
Ellie 1 - Junk food 0!!
I'm planning a day on extra easy tomorrow as I've got a roast in for tea :-) I'm hoping this rain disappears over night too as I want to go for a run tomorrow!!
Over and out :-)
